In cooperation with our local governments and regional partners, MCCOG provides various services to the region.
Area Agency on Aging
The Mid-Carolina Area Agency on Aging (AAA), a program of MCCOG, works with numerous partners to promote independence,
preserve dignity, and advocate for the rights of older and disabled adults and their families. Learn more about AAA programs.
North Carolina Senior Tar Heel Legislature
The North Carolina Senior Tar Heel Legislature (STHL) is a group of senior volunteers who provides information to senior citizens
on the legislative process and matters being considered by the North Carolina General Assembly. Learn more about it.
Transportation Planning
The Mid-Carolina Rural Planning Organization (RPO), a program of MCCOG, provides transportation planning for Sampson
and Bladen Counties and portions of Cumberland and Harnett Counties. Learn more about the RPO.
Local Government Services
MCCOG provides a variety of services for local govements in the region including planning, zoning administration, subdivision

RLUAC
MCCOG serves as the fiscal agent for the Regional Land Use Advisory Commission (RLUAC). RLUAC is a non-profit 501(C)3
organization consisting of 21 units of local government, eight counties and 13 municipalities. RLUAC works to coordinate
land use decisions between Ft. Bragg and local governments. Learn more about RLUAC.
